Super Awesome Bathroom
Way back before we all got sick, we were working on our bathroom, and after one final plumbing feat of genius by my husband (so I can actually fit things in my cupboard) it is now completely done. Hooray! Andrew and my dad put in the lights and my dad started the painting for me by trimming out the top, but a lot of the rest was my project to fit in during naptimes, so I am really excited to have it done. The pictures don't exactly do it justice, so come see it.

Fun With Nana
My mom came up this week to keep us company while Andrew was at his out of town training. She and Bryce had some good times, and I had some time off to go shopping. It's been such a long time since I did that, I think I hit almost every store in Bakersfield. It was 107 and 104 for part of the time she was here, so I am sure she's glad to go home.
Bryce thought it was super funny to share his teether.
Big hugs!
Mmmm, zucchini, squash, ground turkey and tomato casserole, my new favorite!

Father's Day Part 1
Me and my Daddy
This weekend Bryce was dedicated at church and Andrew's family and my mom were here for the big day. Andrew made his dad slave away with him to put in a whole house fan the day before..what a Father's Day present. I think Bryce got the award for the most hair of the 19 kiddos being dedicated (yeah 19, there are a lot of young families in Bako).
Me, Daddy and Papa in our Sunday best.
Papa and all his kids and grandkids.
Me going in for a big kiss w/ cousin Leah who is getting so big and can sit on her own now.
An attempt at getting all the cousins-too wiggly.

Summertime
The hot has come to Bakersfield so we try and get wet as often as possible.
He is very helpful and wishes to fill the water table himself, but thankfully hasn't figured out how to make the water shoot out. Waving is one of his newer skills, as is clapping, but the clapping is just too hard to catch a photo of. Lately the waving looks a lot like he is doing the hula, not sure where that came from.
He has gotten 4 or 5 new teeth in the last 2 weeks.
In other news, our garden is exploding out of the raised beds. If you would like some zucchini, squash, or in a few weeks, tomatoes, please come take them away. We have a mostly naked garden gnome who likes to pick veg. And eat them too.

Fruits of our Labor
We've all had a major flu bug which seems to be moving on now (hopefully), so today we went out to the garden to see if there was anything good there after our long time inside trying to get better. The tomatoes seem to have exploded since we were out there last.
Here we have our first zucchini of the year!
Andrew looks like he is really happy about the garden in this picture, but he was just trying to get away from Bryce who was shoving the zucchini up his nose.
