Easter Tree

Occasionally, when we get his colicky sister to nap, Bryce and mommy do some fun things together. Here he is putting the eggs on the Easter tree. He has been asking to do it for days now and thankfully the eggs were not up in the attic like we thought, so there did not have to be an early morning foray into the attic.

Yes, he is wearing Christmas pjs, but when there is a wet bed disaster at 2 in the morning, Christmas pjs are still ok in February.

Little Pengies

Some days when being a mom is not easy, and these kiddos are driving me nuts, I am reminded that they are totally worth it by silly things like matching pengie pjs. I mean, really, how can you resist?

Joyful Noise 2

As a companion post to our previous list of the cacophony of joyful noises which come from our little girl, we have two additions. 1. The sneeze: Now maybe I just don't remember Bryce sneezing very often but I'm pretty sure Jocelyn's sneeze ranks high in the record of ladylike sneezes. It is such a cute noise we have plans to put her outside in the sunlight to see if we can record it on video (these kids both have sunlight sneezing genes). 2. Radio static: This noise is a happy one and appeared around the advent of the smile. I guess it's her main method of communication, but it sounds just like the noise you'd make if you were pretending to play walkie talkie with a little boy who want to be just like his daddy and have a "radio".



Yes, I realize this is a "boy" shirt, but I couldn't resist. 

Who can resist a wee girl with a great smile? When she is not colicky, she is just as perky as her brother was. Here she is making eyes at daddy while mommy slept in.
