The Fair

Today daddy was off work so we went to the fair. I mostly liked the animals, but the corndog mommy and I shared was pretty good too.

This is my buddy, he is just my size.

So I tried to hug him. He jumped away very fast.


The ducks were pretty much my favorite.

First I tried to eat the food for the fawn, then I figured out that it was for him.





Geese are not my favorite. Especially not this one.

Alfredo Sunday

I tried my hand at making alfredo sauce, and it was well received by the minions. Clean-up however was another what was I thinking moment.






Helping daddy put on his socks for work.

Bubbas

Bryce and daddy had some fun with his "bubbas" outside today.





Quick break to wave to the plane going over.


Bryce has an irrational fear of the vacuum cleaner. It is a drop and cover situation when I am running it.

Helper

I was working on a project today and Bryce decided to help out.

The Park

Andrew and the guys went camping so tonight to amuse ourselves we went to the park. Bryce climbed up the giant rocket ship and went down the biggest slide (I really should have gotten a picture of the slide, because as his mommy I had no business letting him do it, but he survived).

Then we played in the tubes (which were on the side which is actually for his age group)



then we got wet...a lot.


The giant slide did not really concern my son, but getting wood chips stuck to his wet hands did.


Whew, wood chip crisis averted. (he also sat in a pile of biting ants, but a good soak got rid of them too)

Directly after this one I carried him to the car. I think that makes me an ok mom for the day.

Fridays with Bryce

Subtitle: Never a dull moment in the life of a 15 month old boy.



Rocking socks and a diaper, which is what I decided I wanted to wear to play inside today (note: Bryce's mommy does not give him the option of not wearing the diaper in case you were worried)



Climbing on the big boy stool mommy made me (he was sitting on it calmly and having a drink when I grabbed the camera, but what fun is that?)

This is Bryce making the lizard face, which he always does when we get to this part of the book. It is priceless, but also very very tricky to get a picture of (I know this because I have tried about 20 times)

Doughnuts

My daddy has been off work for 2 whole days now, and this morning he made me doughnuts. It was awesome! Plus, I got to eat them on my booster at the table like a big boy.
