CALM

Patting Max the desert tortoise

A raptor!

 Monday we went to CALM which is like a zoo for native animals, so we finally got to see where daddy takes all the animals he finds for rehab.

You can't hear it in the picture of course, but he's yelling "Hi Deer!"

I think he might have tried to feed it a dead leaf.

 He was pretty excited about the deer because they actually came over to see him by the fence. They were probably hoping for snacks, but he doesn't need to know that.

This is the closest by far I ever want Bryce to be to a "big ki-ki"

Wet Pants

Hmm, mommy is asking me how my pants got wet, maybe I should act coy.

You mean these wet pants?

Could it be because I hopped in the fountain?

Maybe if I smile with my big cheese face, mommy won't care.

A Few Things to Do When it Rains

1. Play in my cardboard house cause it won't stop pouring outside.

2 Get my house all comfy with the major essentials like my saw, and daddy's outdoor magazine, and then pretend I'm taking a nap.





3. Get a shave from daddy. (He looks concerned here for some reason, but they do this all the time)

4. Feed the coots at the park with mommy and daddy, try not to fall in.



5. Splash in some major puddles.




6. Play in the fountain with my ducks, well daddy's ducks, but the ones I am borrowing.

Easter Morning

Finding eggs before church. We only made 8 eggs, so they weren't too hard to hide.

That is one excited egg-finding face!

Egg Dyeing Masterpieces

Dyeing Easter eggs with an almost 2 year old boy is sort of a "what were we thinking moment". But he had fun and only one egg got obliterated on the floor (actually not courtesy of Bryce).

Putting the colors in the cups. We were 4/6 on getting the colors right.

Checking them out to see if it's working.



Still trying to figure out how those crayons work.

Not sure why he's holding up a three but he does this a lot for pictures lately. We've been working on 2, so maybe we're getting close.

Big Boy

Bryce's 2nd birthday is fast approaching and every day when I look at him, he seems like such a big boy now.
